One of the many options that we provide for our customers here at SERVPRO Disaster Recovery Team - Team Wall is called a “Master Service Agreement.” You may be wondering: What is a Master Service Agreement? What does it entail? How is it different from the other services that SERVPRO can offer me? In this blog, we’ll provide an overview of our Master Service Agreement and answer those frequently asked questions so that you can make the best decision for your commercial business in the event of an emergency.
What Is a Master Service Agreement (MSA)?
A Master Service Agreement, commonly abbreviated as MSA, is a contract that your commercial business might sign with SERVPRO Team Wall in order to establish a deeper connection with our team and make certain that you have a direct point of contact in the event of an emergency. When you sign an MSA, you will be assigned a commercial account manager within our team, who you will be able to contact at any time, making for a faster and more personalized response whenever your business is in need of our assistance.
Overview of the MSA Process
With an MSA with SERVPRO, your account manager is standing by and will be your first point of contact when you reach out to SERVPRO. Once connected, your account manager will ask several questions, such as the location of the loss, square footage affected, and billing preferences, in order to ensure that our response is both quick and tailored to your business’ unique needs. With this information, your account manager will enlist the help of the appropriate SERVPRO office and assign a crew to service your facility. Along the way, your account manager will communicate with you verbally and electronically so that you can stay up to date on progress throughout the entire process. If our team encounters any type of problem, your account manager will contact you, serving as the liaison between you and our SERVPRO crew. Finally, the final billing will be processed through our central SERVPRO Disaster Recovery Team - Team Wall, regardless of which SERVPRO team completed the work.
