How to cleanup soot after fire damage.

One of the main concerns with soot damage is their innate magnetism when heated. The magnetic particles find any metal surface and collect there. SERVPRO of Hunt Valley / Lutherville uses patented products to clean and restore soot damaged homes.

The Cleaning Process

1. Remove items from the home to be cleaned at our facility.
2. Use patented chemical cleaning products to restore PH balance of soot damaged items.
3. Use deodorization techniques of ozone or thermal fogging to restore natural odor.
4. Store clean items until home is ready for their return.

These steps may seem straight forward but it does take time to assure that the smoke odor and soot damage are fully cleaned from a home.
